*~* MOLLY'S FOLLIE *~* Welcome to my auction! This is Molly's Follie. She is so pretty! This doll has lots of personal touches and will be a beautiful addition to your prim collection! She would be wonderful to sit out for the Fall season. Molly is made from an original pattern dreamed up by me. She will be the only one of her kind. Her overall height is 25" from the top of her ear to the bottom of her painted slippers. As with all of my creations, she is completely stitched by my hand (not machine). Her dress and hat is actually made from a floral linen fabric that has been aged with my wonderful staining concoction of spices. Molly's skirt is sewn of black cotton with an overlay of black netting. Her neck band is made of black velvet with a vintage button attached. Hand embroidery dominates the front placket of her dress bodice. Her hat is adorned with real black feathers, glittered stems, and more vintage buttons and has trailing black netting and black satin ribbon. Molly's main body is made of muslin. Her head, arms, and legs are fashioned from white felt. I used acrylic paints and artisits pencils to draw her face, accented with some of my spice stain. Her whiskars are handsewn in real horsehair. I needle sculpted her nose and eyes. She will arrive from my nonsmoking home to yours via Priority Mail with Confirmation and is signed and dated by me. I will also attach my aged Cinn~A~Prims hang tag to her. Thank you for visiting Molly today, blessings to all!
