You are bidding on a fine quality early food type chopper in original condition . No sharpening or buffing just as it was found in a chest of old woodworking tools. A small amount of light rust as would be expected . Piece is signed, D. BABCOCK & CO. I find reference to this company selling goods to the U.S. Navy in 1870 and again in 1873. Belongs in a fine collection. .... Size is 7 1/2 X 6 1/4 inches..
