Up for auction today is this incredible primitive Thanksgiving Turkey and Pilgrim Set. The pilgrims are on a T urkey "H unt" , riding on the back of a turkey. The Turkey measures an incredible 14 X 14. It is made of muslin that has been painted and coffee stained to give that primitive look we all love. Turkey is weighted so that it can stand on its own. The Turkey feathers are painted green , burgandy, and mustard - great prim colors. There is a tea-stained tag that says "TURKEY HUNT" attached with prim string and safety pin. Pilgrims each measure approximately 15" and their knees are bent so that they can easily sit on the back of the Turkey. They are made of black osnaburg and muslin. This makes a great centerpiece or perfect for on top of a cupboar d. I purchased this set on Ebay two years ago and paid a great deal more for it than I am asking. I am giving up many of my prim decorations so please check my other listings. Because Thanksgiving is coming so quickly, as soon as you pay me, I will get this shipped out.
