Primitive Hand Carved Wood Religious Figure This item is from Professor Spencer's estate - She traveled the world extensively picking up various treasures primarily during the 60's, 70's and '80's This is one of the items I have no description on, however I believe it to be from Latin America or Mexico based on all the other items that were in the same box appeared to be from Mexico or Latin America It is hand carved out of wood Very primitive in appearance Measures approx 14 1/2" tall Age - Unknown This item is from the estate of Art Professor Marjorie Spencer. She traveled the world collecting interesting, museum quality tribal art, artifacts, jewelry, weavings and textiles . I will be selling items from her extensive collection for the next few weeks. Please check back often. Professor Spencer was meticulous with regards to her record keeping. She labeled all her items, making selling them much more acurate.
