This beautiful trench bowl is handhewn of a pinewood that has many marks from the hewing with a lovely grain and two knotholes on the interior, one of which goes through. It has been lightly sanded to make it useful for food preparation but it has been left mostly as is. It is of a sturdy weight. It would make a great salad bowl for a party and is certainly a great display bowl. You may have the perfect place for a primitive, attractive bowl. It has been hand waxed for a glossy patina that brings up the rich color and character. It measures 23.25" long and is 9" wide. The height is 3". You will notice many very complimentary feedback comments by recipients of my lovely and inexpensive bowls. A lovely table piece and an appropriate gift!
