~Hello and welcome....thank you for taking a peek at my prim offering~ This listing is for a sweet primitive daisy decoration that I have created for your Americana decorating! The rusty pail....full of Americana daisies, a flag and firecrackers....would look delightful sitting on top of an old dry sink, cupboard or shelf. It can be displayed anywhere you would like a bit of patriotic spirit! The nine daisies are made out of Americana print cotton homespuns. The centers have been gathered and hand stitched in place over a bit of batting. I stained the flowers with a coffee/vanilla mixture and stiffened them to hold their shape. The daisies measure about 4-1/2" across and are attached to twisted rusty wire stems. The flag was created out of a fabric print and is hand stitched to its wood staff. The two prim firecrackers were handmade by me also out of dried birch branches. They are hand painted, sanded and stained. Their "fuses" were created out of jute twine. I placed the daisies, flag and firecrackers inside of a rusty metal oval shaped pail with a bail handle. I placed faux greenery around the stems. The prim tag has the words "Celebrate America" stamped on it and I used a small stained clothespin to attach it to the pail.
