Socks the "Much Loved" Bunny Rabbit 20% Donation to the Humane Society of the United States Poor old Socks, he has been loved to tatters by his little boy owner. This is the picture that comes to my mind. I can just imagine a young boy lugging his rabbit by the arm everyw with him. Socks was made to have the "well loved" look. He looks like he has been dragged around and been for awhile. This bunny rabbit was made by me out of brownish colored faux fur. He is 20 inches tall not including his 10 inch long, felt lined, adjustable ears. Sock's felt muzzle and nose are hand stitched along with string whiskers. The legs are button jointed for movement. Socks is outfitted in his own pair of toddler socks and blue neck bow. He also wears his handmade, wool tweed jacket in the colors of blue, tan and brown. Socks has a great pot belly and sits upright independently. He has 2 toned eyes with one purposely dangling out. I think Socks would look wonderful tucked somew on a bedroom shelf or nursery. He is not a toy though and just for decorative purposes only. You can even use his basket that comes with 5 fabric covered eggs to display at Easter time along with Socks. Remember that 20% of the final sale price goes to help support the Humane Society of the United States. Thank you to Soft in the Head for pattern design. Our home is smoke free but we do have pets.
