Primitive~ Lady Liberty Angel~ Crow Make- Do I just finished Lady Liberty and I couldn't wait to post her! She turned out really cool! Mounted on an antique porch spindle she measures 20 1/2 inches tall. She's dress in a stained vintage linen top and a blue star print stained homespun full skirt. Her hands are grungy sticks. Lady Liberty has a very prim face with raised eyebrows, pinched nose and penciled eyes. Her halo is primitive flax. She sports a hand stitched sash that reads AMERICA done in brown floss. The sash is stained cheesecloth and muslin. Her "crusty" wings are dark red vintage flannel and have been grunged up and "aged. They are lightly stuffed and are attached to her back with a rusty safety pin. Lady Liberty carries a stained and sanded flag on a stick pole. The grungy crow make-do measures 9 inches tall. His body is painted and grunged up osnaburg muslin. A wax dipped star dangles from his beak on rusty wire. I just can't tell you how neat this gal is in person. He clothes are well stained and aged... she's A PRIM DANDY!!!! I have some neat prims listed this week. I hope you will take a peek! I accept Pay Pal, Money Orders and Cashiers Checks.
