Hello and welcome to my auction! Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my primitive olde St. Nick! I am offering a primitive Santa that has been hand made by me. He would look delightful sitting on the mantel or tucked inside of a prim cupboard. He can be placed just about anyw you would like a bit of the Christmas or Holiday spirit! This Santa or St. Nick measures about 11" tall. His body is made out of tea stained osnaburg. He has a pinched nose and painted eyes and brows. He has just a hint of blush on his cheeks! Santa's beard, hair and moustache are dyed wool roving and all has been hand stitched to his head. His hands or gloves are black wool felt. St. Nick's coat, shoulder cape and attached hood are made out of antique white wool felt. The trim is a reproduction vintage tinsel and has all been hand stitched to his coat and hood. When the sewing and stitching was completed on his coat, I sponged it with a coffee/vanilla mixture and it dried to a perfectly prim appearance. For a belt, I wrapped a piece of twisted rusty wire around his waist and t are three rusty tin stars attached to the "belt". Santa is secured to a 4" by 4" piece of painted, sanded and stained wood. T is moss placed on the top of the wood around his body. In one arm, St. Nick is holding a small prim snowman. He is made out of flannel and measures about 4" tall. He has tiny black seed beads for eyes and a stitched nose and mouth. He has also been put through the prim process. He has a sweet little black hat and I tied a red flannel tie around his neck for a scarf. He has peppercorns for buttons. I pinned a small grungied tag to Santa's other arm, with the words "OLDE ST. NICK" stamped on it. Please email me with any questions. Paypal is the preferred method of payment and I accept credit and debit cards. You may also pay with a money order that must be received within seven days of the end of auction. Please note that I never charge a handling fee for my items and you will pay actual shipping costs only. Thank you for looking at my primitive old St. Nick! Also, I would like to extend my best wishes for all of the upcoming holidays to all of you!
