This prim pattern is by Buttermilk Basin. The needle punch embroidery was punched by me on weavers cloth using three strands of Valdani hand dyed floss in primitive colors. If you look at the close up photos you will see the hand stitched seed beads on each strawberry. The needle punch was then fashioned into a pinkeep using a rusty red wool for the back and stuffed with sawdust. A torn strip of the same red wool was attached with rusty look safety pins to create a removeable hanger. For a finishing touch a 100% wool yarn border was hand stitched around the entire piece. The pinkeep measures approximately 3 3/4" wide by 3" tall.
