Raggedy Ann Doll If you are a lover of Primitive Folk art and one-of-a-kind dolls you have found the right place. NutMeg-originals dolls are One of a kind designs made with lots of love. Each doll comes signed and dated by me the artist NutMeg. I never use a pattern but instead my dolls are made one at a time, dolls that bring you to a very special place. All my dolls look and feel old and resemble dolls that are Antique. T are places that have been mended on purpose. I used one of the oldest fabrics, Osnabur for my dolls bodies that are put through a special aging process, stained, baked, and stained again. My dolls are stuffed with rags (clean) and stuffing which gives them a weighted feel just like a dolly you would find in Grandmas Attic.Many hours go into each doll. I hand-stitch all my faces paying close attention to details. It has been said that my dolls are habit forming and you will want to have several for your collection of Annies. NutMeg-Originals Dolls are sure to tug at your heart and make you smile. This Annie turned out so sweet, she stands 22 inches tall and is full of charm for a little gal. I have to tell you the minute I saw this vintage apron trimmed in rick rack I had to have it. The colors blend so nicely together blues, burnt orange, and green tones and a touch of yellow and olive green, so primitive so sweet. Annies collar is a piece of a vintage cutter quilt and I have given her a cap to keep nice and warm. Her hair is red orange sheeps wool and did you see those pig tails now how cute can you get. Her legs are hand painted with red stripes and she has cocco brown shoes..I have used wax pastels..for an old time worn look and feel.Thanks for looking check back often for I am always adding new dolls in need of a good home.
