This 19 inch Primitive Raggedy Ann is made from quilt store quality muslin. She has been stuffed firmly and then sanded for a more prim look. Her bodice and hairbow are made from a small floral cotton Thimbleberries fabric. Her skirt and pantaloons are made from a barn red homespun fabric that has thin tan and black lines. I have stiched a border strip of fabric all the way around her dress. On the strip is various saltbox houses and shops. I have tied an old button to her bodice with embroidery thread. Her prim saltbox house tag says, "Peace Be To This House", and is pinned to her dress with a rusty bell and safety pin. Her face is painted on and then sanded. Her Primitive red wavy wool yarn hair is stitched to the top of her head along the seam. Her cheeks and the stripes on her legs have been dry-brushed on with red paint. Her dress, pantaloons, and sleeves of her bodice have all been hemmed instead of torn. I hope you like her. This doll is intended for decorative purposes only. She comes from a smoke and pet free home. This Annie has been designed and handmade by me, Jenny Mayo. I only accept Sorry, no personal checks or money orders.
