~Primitive Spring Bunnies "Hannah Hopper & Babies"! This is a NEW bunny grouping for 2011 up for bidding and I think it turned out just adorable! Meet "Hannah Hopper" and her babies, they are tucked into a carrot wheelbarrow! Mama Hannah is 22" long (to the tip of her ears) and is gently weighted to sit nicely. She is made of tea dyed muslin and has a hand painted face with a hand stitched nose as well as sisal whiskers. Hannah Hopper wears white knit stockings and check out her white patent leather Mary Janes, TOO sweet! She wears lace trimmed bloomers that are in a dusty rose and white checked fabric and her dress is in a contrasting bunny "sweethearts" print on a white background. This print is so sweet, it shows boy and girl bunny sweethearts with baskets and carrots tossed throughout. This is such a cute fabric, always a favorite of mine. Her entire dress is done in the bunny print but I have stitched a lace trimmed inset and a sash made of the dusty rose checked fabric I used for her bloomers. I also stitched three carrot buttons down the center of the inset and added a big bow at the hip, SO sweet!
