Hi and welcome.......

I am offering, in this auction, a very cute simple primitive star door greeter with a snowman hand stitched to the front. This door greeter would look great hanging on a door knob or a prim cupboard door.

The star is made out of red ticking fabric and measures about 11" across. The star has a piece of vintage crocheted lace for a hanger.....and it has been stuffed very firmly. Hand stitched to the front of the star is a snowman. The snowman is made out of antique white wool felt. He has tiny black seed beads for eyes and his mouth is black cross-stitches.....and he has a tiny stitched orange nose. The snowman's hat is made out of dark blue wool felt. When the sewing was completed on this door greeter, I sponged it with a coffee/vanilla mixture and it dried to a wonderful prim appearance. I then attached a piece of vintage tinsel garland as a "hat band" and pinned a rusty bell and star to the neckline of the snowman.

To one point of the star, I have pinned, with a large rusty safety pin, a rusty bell and old key. I then tied a large prim tag to the has a sweet "snowy" picture with the greeting...."A snowy, cheery, old fashioned Merry Christmas". To complete the holiday look of this door greeter, I lightly sprinkled it with mica dust.

Please email me with any questions. Paypal is the preferred method of payment and I accept credit and debit cards. You may also pay with a money order which must be received within seven days of the end of auction.

Thank you for looking at my simply prim Winter door greeter!
