This very primitive looking handmade traditional slipcast redware cat stands approx.10" tall and 5 " across the base. It is done in a warm redware with copper oxide and manganese splotches. It is signed on the bottom Laura Twiford ES of VA 2007 in the clay. So great to display year 'round with your redware, yellow ware and other vintage pottery! I enjoyed the Easter collection so much that I decided to continue with some of the other figurals before getting back to the everyday redware pieces. Some of these I haven't made in 5-6 years! T are several different sets of sheep along with singles, t are 2 different sizes of cows, a few more chicks and 2 primitive barnyard cats watching over the whole group! PLEASE take note as each piece is unique, t are no 2 the same !! I am including a picture of the entire group which can also be seen on my website along with a picture of this weeks' offering for size and color reference only. If you see something you like, better get it while you can! Also, the answers to a lot of the questions that I receive can be found in the description or check out my "ME" page on ebay which has a link to my website w you can find further information.I appreciate all the interest in my work, Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!! The items pictured in the cabinet are for size and color reference only. read more
