Thank you for stopping by... Santa is 22 inches tall and is made from gently stained muslin. His facial features are embroidered with big blue eyes. His nose and eyebrows are pinched stitched and detailed with embroidery. I used artist's pencils to give Santa those rosy cheeks and to highlight his beautiful eyes. His boots are sculpted, painted, sanded and sealed. His hands are stitched to have individual fingers. His hair covers his entire head and is needle felted with lamps wool. His beard is also needle felted. He is boxed bottom and weighted to sit well. Santa's shirt is made from warm plaid flannel and is edged with warm and natural and is detailed with embroidery. His pants are made with red flannel edged with warm and natural and detailed with embroidery. His collar is made with warm and natural with the same embroidery detail. Santa wears a matching hat. He has bells attached with little black safety pins at the tip of his hat, down the front of his shirt, and his boots . Santa's little helper "Alfie" is just 13 inches tall. He is also made from gently aged muslin. His big green eyes are embroidered. His nose is and eyebrows are pinched stitched and detailed with embroidery. I used artist's pencils to give him rosy cheeks and to highlight is eyes. His red hair is needle felted with dyed lamp's wool and covers his head and around his wonderful ears...just love them!! He is also box bottomed to sit well. His hands are stitched to have individual fingers. His boots are painted nutmeg, sanded and sealed. His shirt is made from green plaid flannel, his pants with green flannel. He is wearing a matching hat and a little green scarf. He also has bells attached with little black safety pins at the tip of his hat and on his boots. Now, Santa also comes with his toy bag made with homespun and burlap that has been heavily primed. It has a shoulder strap tied to his bag to make it a little easier for Santa to carry. Inside I placed a bottle brush tree and vintage toy ornies that could be used on your tree. Alfie is holding a little wooden painted rocking horse that is also a vintage ornament. Also, under the toys I placed a little bag made with warm and natural with candy cane scented sachet inside. Wonderful smellfor the Holidays. This is a great vignette for the Holidays. Santa collectors could leave these guys out all year round. I used a great pattern from Peddler Hill Primitives for inspiration and to make the bodies and clothes for these dolls. Their details however are Rosebabys. Rosebabys are made to be heirloom quality. Each doll is signed and dated and comes with a handmade hangtag. Please take your time and look at the pictures. If you have any questions, please email me before the end of the auction.
