This is a large snowman doll measuring 28" tall. The round head is made of aged muslin with a hand stitched face and a carrot nose that is also made of muslin,sculpted, painted and aged. The body is made of vintage chenille that has been dyed vibrant red and is so soft. Down his middle he wears 4 large rusty bells and plush, aged fur around his mittens and boots. The mittens and boots are muslin that has been aged, painted, sanded and rubbed with cinnamon. The boots each have 3 small rusty bells going down the front. He wears a felt hat and a wonderful scarf made from a antique quilt with fringe, the quilt is very worn with some of the cotton batting showing thru, but t is a lot of hand stitching and the color is nice , it really gives this snowman doll a lot of character. He holds greenery of wispy pine with red pip berries that suround a large star that has a tie around it that is a piece of old doiley with red berries on top and rusty stars with an aged hang tag that reads " STAR LIGHT STAR BRIGHT" that is held on by a rusty safety pin. The snowman has been sprinkled with german glass on his face and has pink cheeks from the cold, he looks so cute and really glitters in the light.
