This is a wonderful old wooden fruit gathering box ca. 19th century. It holds a peck of fruit. There is a heavy rat-tail metal handle. The corners are metal reinforced and there is an old metal repair to one side. The wood has many age splits. It would not be advisable to carry anything heavy in it, but it would look lovely filled with any seasonal item for display. It has a great old patina. This wood carrier measures 13 3/4" across and is 8" high. Please click on all the pictures to see all the details. Buyer to pay priority insured shipping of $10.00 anywhere in the USA. International shipping fees are based on your location. Thank you for visiting a wild Goose Chase.
