You won't see another one of these on Ebay, maybe ever! I am offering for sale an old wooden basket, perhaps a bushel basket with old paint. I think it originally was painted green, and then later, one half was repainted blue. The blue paint is not recent and is also very old paint. In any case this is a wonderful old primitive basket constructed with wood slates and square nails. It measures 14 ¾" tall, 18 ½" across the top, and 13 ½" across the bottom. Don't let this unusual primitive basket get away! Please contact me with any questions or for additional pictures. I will ship this Fed X Ground. Fed X will not ship to a PO Box. I prefer Paypal, money order, or personal check with a 10 day waiting period. If I do not receive payment 7 days after the sale, I will contact next bidder or relist this item. I was given the following piece of information by a helpful Ebayer.I've heard these type of baskets refered to as Gallupville Baskets. Said to have originated in Gallupville NY on the Zimmer farm, made by the Zimmer family for collecting eggs. I live locally and they are quite popular
