It is a heavy-duty metal square scoop that measures 1 ½” squared. It is 5" tall and is signed “PC Server Prince Castle Mfg. Div. Inc. Sterling, ILL Pat. Pend.” The handle is stamped with the number 300. I’ve scoured the internet to research this item and found that it was used to serve ice cream in the Prince Castle and Cock Robin restaurants in Illinois. What a fantastic addition this will be to someone who loves nostalgia and ice cream! By the way, I tested it and it works perfectly---a nice square scoop of ice cream!
