ONE OF THE THREE PERFUME BOTTLES "AVA MARIA" WAS ONE OF THE FIRST THREE INTRODUCED BY PRINCE MATCHABELLI! THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE THREE SMALL BOTTLES INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. I've had these for many years and have never opened any of this perfume bottle display, as they're very tight. They may have been for display only. Approx. size: 2 1/4 inches wide (at widest part), 2 3/4 inches tall, bases 1 3/4 inches left to right. Front to back 1 inch. Three 1 oz Prince Matchabelli Circa 1928 Perfume Bottles (no contents) with original labels still affixed to bottom of bottles and wire around two of the three small bottles. Lovely crown-shaped bottles designed by by Princess Norina after the Matchabelli crown and introduced in 1928 with labels on the underside. The three bottles are labeled: Ava Maria ( this was one of the first 3 perfumes introduced by Prince Matchabelli ) Princess of Wales Princess of < illegible > (see supersize photos)All three bottles appear to be in very good condition and commensurate with their age. No chips, breaks, or cracks. There is some discoloration on some of the goldtone (see crosses) and black beaded areas (see supersize photos for appearance and condition). Two bottles appear to be sealed with their original cords/ropes. Cannot see a cord on the 3rd bottle. I've never opened or attempted to force these lovely bottles open, so I haven't seen inside other than what you also see. See Supersize photos for appearance and condition.
