Up for auction is my brand new in box Diana, Princess of Wales Heirloom Collection Christmas ornament from Carlton Cards, which is now known as American Greetings. This ornament was first in a collectible series of famous women in history, and of course was commissioned as a tribute after her tragic death. I bought it new and kept it in its box and in storage since I bought it, so it's in terrific shape. In this portrayal, she is wearing her self described "Elvis Dress", the famous white pearl gown with high collared bolero jacket, wearing a pearl look tiara, and holding a bouquet of white flowers, no doubt a tribute to the white roses which were named after her. It also has nice detailing of a white pearl like bracelet and silver ring. She is wearing her famous big smile, and standing under a gazebo of pink roses. This is a really beautiful ornament and was a fitting tribute, great to remember her on your tree every year. Originally it retailed for $19.95, so I'm letting it go for half.
