From the Collection of Diana, Princess of Wales

This very collectible softcover catalog featuring the 79 dresses that were sold at a charity auction by Christie's of New York in 1979 is in very near new condition. The back bottom corner has very slight damage (shown). The spine has a slight crease from where the book has been opened. This piece of history contains beautiful pictures of each dress, lists the designer and some comments about the fabric and what occasions the dress was worn. There are also some designer schetches and pictures of Princess Diana wearing the dress. Included in this book is a picture taken at the White House with President and Mrs. Regan in 1985, with a note from the President. The dress was worn at a State Dinner given by the President and Mrs. Regan. It was designed by Victor Edelstein and broke the record for a garment sold at Christie's, selling for $222,500.

This piece of history contains beautiful pictures of each dress, lists the designer and some comments about the fabric and occasions where the dress was worn. There are also some designer schetches and pictures of Princess Diana wearing the dresses.
