In a letter dated October 20, 1961, to Mr. Bob Considine, Newspaper Columnist for Diplomat Magazine, Princess Grace Kelly breaks her silence regarding an offensive article that was written by Mr. Bob Considine's wife about the Princess. The letter reads as follows: Dear Mr. Considine, I feel that I must bring to your attention a matter concerning an article written by your wife for DIPLOMAT Magazine. This article was picked up, naturally, by a Sunday newspaper in Dublin and has caused me great anguish and embarrassment. I understand the difficulty to fill columns and the need for exaggeration to stimulate ublic interest, but understanding does not help to assuage the hurt when one is the victim.
