Up for auction is the Princess House Dighton Rose Flateware One 5 piece place setting Stainless Steel flatware made by Oneida exclusively for Princess House, item # 250 Brand new, never used still in original boxes and cellophane wrappings, with paper work. Dighton Rose is the flatware designed and manufactured with and for Princess House by the world renowned Stainless Steel flatware manufactuer "Oneida". The collaboration of skills by these two great companies created some of the most beautiful and unique flatware ever seen. Made of 18/8 Stainless steel, The handles have a silk brushed finish , and, the Dighton Rose design impressed upon each piece . This is the same, classic half daisy design, that was handcut into some of the earlier pieces of Princess House stemware. Tfore each piece is a perfect complement to your Princess House handblown and lead crystal. This collection was offered by Princess House for an extremely short period of time during the 80's. Found to be too expensive and intricate to mass produce, this collection was discontinued within 1 year of its introduction. These are truly rare pieces, and much sought after by serious Princess House collectors. You will find that the quality, balance, and beauty of each piece, is impecable.
