This auction is for a vintage IH McCormick Deering Flare Box Wagon (aka Tractor Trailer) manufactured in 1950 by the Product Miniature Co. It's a 1:16 scale replica and is made of plastic. The wagon is in excellent condition. Both decals are intact (note this version has the McCormick decal, not the McCormick Deering decal). I'm not sure if the front axle and hitch are original or not. They looked a little funny to me but then I saw a photograph of a similar wagon in a price guide, and it looked like the same type of axle, but I photographed the bottom of so you could see for yourself. It does look like a piece has possibly been broken off just behind the front axle. Otherwise the plastic is in fine shape with just a little bit of warping throught middle of the box (which is probably fairly typical of this type of plastic). The box is also in good shape. The endflaps on one end are in great shape with just a little bit of creasing. On the other end, the flaps are t but with more creasing (I think is the end that has been open and shut the most). On both ends, everything is whole. On the top of one end of the box, t about a 1/2 inch tear. On the sides of the box t appears to be the usual scuff marks (mostly black but some green (as thought it has been rubbing against a John Deere box)) and slight wear, but no writing or holes or anything. Overall the box is in good shape, strong and sturdy for its age. As always, please view the photos carefully.
