Up for bid is a Hard to find, Old Time Favorite Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. It's called," PROFESSOR PUG FROG" It features a Frog performing a Circus Act while riding on a Old Time Bicycle, with Two Clowns looking on. The woman Clown is reading a book that says " MOTHER GOOSE CIRCUS". The man Clown is watching the Frog as he gets ready to peform his great feat. On the side of the Bank it reads: "PROFESSOR PUG FROGS GREAT BICYCLE FEAT". The way it works is: You place a coin inside Professor Pug Frog's mouth. Then you turn the cast iron petal on his bike. As you turn the petal, he flips around in a circle, droping the coin into the coin recepter , located just in front of the Clown looking up at him. Coins can be retrieved by removing the Coin Plug on the Bottom of the Bank. This is a Beautiful Bank, with many fine details. It measures 10-1/4 inches long from clown to clown, by 7 inches high. The width of its base is 3 inches. This Bank has been well cared for over the years and is in "Excellent Condition" All of its Mechanical Parts work Perfectly. I do not know if this Bank is a original or a reproduction, as t are no markings on the Bank to indicate the manufacturer or date. This is a heavy Bank due to its Solid Cast Iron.
