Sculpture of the 'Hammerpede' as featured in the film 'Prometheus'. This is a solid-cast, weighty resin sculpture inspired by the savage alien 'Hammerpede' as featured in the film 'Prometheus'. The tiny indigenous worms on the alien planet's surface are inadvertently transported by the explorers to the cavernous 'Ampule Chamber' via the soles of their moonboots. Subsequently, the worms come into contact with the leaking black fluid that seeps from the ampules upon the explorers' breaching of the sealed temple area. The resultant creature grows at a phenomenal rate to a snake-sized abomination which, despite it's intial strange butterfly-like allure, is capable of snapping the arm of an adult human in a relentless constrictive fashion.
