Offered is a rare book titled The A B C Of Mining..A Handbook For Prospectors, by Charles A. Bramble. Dated 1898. Contains 183 pages of information and steel cut illustrations on all the aspects of early day lode and placer mining in the western hardrock mining districts. Includes illustrations and information on stamp mills, Pelton Water Wheels, Horse Whims for lifting ore from shafts. Even chapters on Camp Life, Dynamite, and Floating A Company. Measures 4.50 x 6.75, in good condition. Cover soiled a bit and worn as shown, binding very good. All interior pages intact, tear, and odor free. This is a choice copy for your library of rare mining books, and could be easily rebound.
