HO scale WABASH E-8 powered 'A' unit. This is a Proto 2000 Series diesel locomotive made by Lifelike, catalog # '8198'. It is painted in 2-tone blue with white highlights and the lettering is yellow with a cab number '1006'. The chassis is die-cast and very hefty and t are 2 brass flywheels attached to the can motor. The headlight is directional and t are an engineer and fireman (un-painted) seated in the cab area. The 3-axle truck frames are detailed plastic and all 6 axles are gear driven.The plastic/body is a separate piece that is very detailed: separate grabs on the nose and doorways, windshield wipers, 4-chime horn, all 6 footladders, all 8 porthole lenses, cab window glass and dual headlight lenses, flexible diaphragm, all 4 see-through fans, top-side steam lines, 'numbered' number boards, and stainless grill work on both sides. The front coupler is a dummy-type knuckle and the rear coupler is a functioning X2-F type.I have track tested this loco and it runs very smoothy with a directional headlight. The original box, inset, and paperwork are included. The paint finish and graphics are sharp and un-blemished and the unit is in EXCELLENT+ condition.Shipping and insurance in the U.S. is 9.50.
