This is the VERY FIRST Grail Diary produced for the current series and never before offered for sale. T was ONLY THIS ONE PROTOTYPE created by Tannis Props to serve as the research and development piece, used to design, engineer and trouble shoot what would later become the current edition. Several of our prototypes are listed this week, the Grail Diary , the Nurhache Urn and the Monkey Head . Please see our other auctions, the titles will clearly state which are Prototypes. As the collectors out t know we have ended production of most of our prop replicas and because of this we no longer have a use for these test pieces and are offering them to the general public for the first and only time. Anyone could buy the regular editions that came from these prototypes but ONLY ONE bidder will own these incredibly rare pieces. The Diary is essentially the same as our production piece with the exception of numerous small changes which were made over time. This prototype does feature many extra hand-watercolored pages that aren't colored in the rest, and different photos than we have used in the past, but are just beginning to add to new Diaries.
