is something for folks who thought they had everything!!! and this may be the last time these will be listed, I am having a yard sale and by golly, SOMEONE will buy them! 2 incredible chairs. they seem to be carved and joined wood. both gold gilded and pastel painted. thousands of meticulously placed tacks. the chairs each have a thick 8-inches feather cushion. some tacks ( about 14 inches on one bottom) have green oxidizing. the chairs are not in perfect condition, but they are in great shape for their age. t are some paint chips, and they need serious cleaning. I did not see any rips or tears in the upholstery. the fabric is still very strong. they are comfortable to sit in. cherubs climbing in the mouths of lions, or griffins... as well as the roman soldiers and ladies. The average person would not have owned these chairs, folks. royalty maybe, or a movie star. They are Totally unique!!! they are probably made in the 50's. PICK UP THESE CHAIRS IN PA. USA. Shipping is extra. and EXPENSIVE. Paying and arranging for shipping is the winners total responsibility. the chairs measure approx 3 feet by 3 feet by 4 feet high. They weigh 35-60 lbs each I think. Storage fees of $30 per week apply 15 days after end of auction. I will deliver for extra within 100 miles. serious inquiries only please, I am moving, and do I need to lug these chairs?. ask any questions before you bid, these chairs are selling as is!! and, as always, thanks for looking at my ultra cooll stuff. shawna g.
