You're looking at an AWESOME card -- a PSA DNA Certfied 1989 Perez Steele Celebrations Postcard Brooks Robinson Autograph. The Robinson Auto is a BEAUTY (GOURGEOUS!!)-- clean, clear, CENTERED, and crisp!! Robinson is a Hall of Famer and was the premier third baseman of his era. Robinson was an All-Star and Gold Glove Winner each year from 1960 to 1974 -- 15 seasons in a row. Robinson was the MVP in 1964 when he led the Orioles with a .317 batting average (second in the league), 28 Home Runs, and 118 RBI's (leader in the league). Robinson holds almost every lifetime record for third baseman by a wide margin: most games (2,870), best fielding percentage (.971), most putouts (2,697), most assists (6,205), most chances (9,165), and most double plays (618). After Robinson almost singlehandedly won the 1970 World Series for the Orioles, Reds manager Sparky Anderson quipped: "I'm beginning to see Brooks in my sleep. If I dropped this paper plate, he'd pick it up on one hop and throw me out at first." This AUTOGRAPH of Orioles' Great, Brooks Robinson, is a very TOUGH auto to get!!
