Pseudocidaris thurmani A spectacular fossil Pseudocidaris thurmani from Sierra de Albarracin, Teruel, Spain. Approx. 150,000,000 years old. The specimen exhibits superb detailling of its spines. Regarded as one of the most aesthetically impressive Echinoid fossils available. A good sized example of this sought after species of Jurassic Echinoid measuring 2.5" across on a matrix measuring 5" x 3" x 2.75". Fascinating detail throughout, with excellent preservation of the intricate body tubercles. Stable, solid, and exceptionally displayable. A very rare fossil indeed!
