Listed is a partially built 1/24th scale, Wayne Enterprises, 80' Elco PT Boat semi-kit. This kit has had a couple of owners. I origionally sold the kit with hull, cabins and plans on ebay in 2002. The first owner purchasing it developed health problems and sold the hull only to another. The new owner located the kit manufacturer, me, and I was hired to fit this hull with a scratchbuilt wood deck and partial cabins and a wooden chine band for this model in 2005. The deck framework is constructed of laminated aircraft grade balsa wood. The deck is laminated balsa and basswood. Charthouse and Dayroom constructed of basswood and gunturrets are plastic turned down to accept the gun turrets made by John Haynes of England. This model when delivered was also operational and powered with a single Astro Flight Super Ferrite 40 with drive shaft and rudder assembly. The second owner passed away in 2007 and the model found its way back to Wayne Enterprises in its current condition. This model is care fully packaged in a 45" X 13" X 13" box and weighs 13 pounds.
