Up for auction here is a vintage, clear, tall, round, embossed, pint milk bottle from Frederick, Maryland. Frederick not on bottle, but a well-established Frederick dairy. Frederick is located near Mt. Airy, Emmitsburg, Thurmont, New Market, etc... The bottle is embossed SCOTT KEY / DAIRY / WM. H. MOORE / PROP. in a frame on the front as well as ONE PINT over HEALTH DEPT. / 2001 / PERMIT in a frame on the back. Vertical ribs on the neck. Bottle was made by the Buck Glass Company and dates to 1928. No chips, cracks, or hits. Light wear. Clear and bright. Nice example.
