lot of 2, 20th century, sheepskin stitched with string, painted with tempera in yellow-gold, red, white, black, and turquoise, and decorated with gourds to which feathers have been attached. Depth of crowns from edge with tie to top of band (folded in half) is approximately 10`. Probably meant to be worn by Clowns at a katsina dance.
