Boxing Card Game, The card game inludes 60 illustrated cards each for a different pugilist with historical researched background material for each fighter and comparable categories of stats giving an insight into this brutal sport and the origins of boxing. Contents of Game; The pack contains 60 historically researched bare knuckle prize fighters including legendary pugilists such as; James Figg, Jack Broughton and Tom Cribb, and renown Irish fighters such as Jack Langan and James Sullivan . The pack also includes notable West Country fighters Jem Belcher , Ward and Jack Slack along with early American Fighters such as Tom Moloneaux , Tom Hyer and Irish American John Heenan . The diverse set of fighters also includes those from the Jewish Community such as; Dutch Sam and Daniel Mendoza along with Midland fighters; Isaac Perrins and Tom Paddock. The game is played similar rules to Top Trumps, hence the name 'Top Thumps', or they can be used as a display or novelty item for someone interested in boxing. The cards are a large format (bigger than standard playing cards) approx 10 X 7cm. NORMALLY POSTED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF PAYMENT BEING RECEIVED, bubble wrapped for protection.
