You are bidding on a unique PULLMAN CO. item! This is a fantastic piece, of museum quality and worthy of a premium spot in any PULLMAN CO collection! This is an extremely scarce Pullman Car Porters folding step ladder, used to make up the upper berth, among other things. It is sturdily constructed of a dense, heavy wood (it weighs 17 pounds) and retains all of its original carpeting in almost pristine condition. The legs are marked horizontally with incised yellow stripes. This item will have to sent to you via UPS; please write for a freight quote if necessary and I will make my best guess for you based on weight and dimensions. Terms of sale I accept and prefer PAYPAL for all of my auctions; I get paid quicker and you get your item faster that way!
