WELCOME TO MY AUCTION! Produced during the 1960s these hopers still see service today on the real railroads. Lionels new tooling model of this hopper is full of special detailings. Including: Standard O styling ( measuring 12 ½ inches long – operating on O31 track and wider), Etched metal roofwalk and diecast metal end platforms are highlights, Intricate molding for the car body, diecast sprung trucks with Lionel’s new hidden uncoupling mechanism. Here is the DEMONSTRATOR PS2 HOPPER . Produced by Pullman to travel about and help sell the virtues of the new hopper style to railroads across the country. And, this is from the FIRST ISSUE of this new style StdO Hopper. For 2009, comparable PS2-cd hoppers are individually catalogued priced at $80.
