Offered is an EXTRA LARGE, very ornate silverplate punchbowl, punchbowl platter and ladle set manufactured by the F. B. Rogers Silver Co. The bottom of the platter and punchbowl are marked with the company insignia and 1883 F.B. Rogers Silver Co. The ladle is unmarked but it is undoubtedly of the same manufacture as the pattern is identical. I believe the pattern number is 5614. The approximate dimensions are as follows... Punchbowl - 17 1/4" dia. x 11" tall Platter - 18 3/4" dia. x 1 1/8" tall Ladle - 17" long x 5 7/8" wide This set is used but looks to have seen very little use. T are some scratches typical of light use and handling but, nothing significant. The punchbowl has three very small dents, two which are barely visible. The largest dent isn't very large either (about the size of one of the circles in this percentage symbol - %) and it is near the bottom of the bowl. A little bit of punch in the bowl will easily conceal it. Overall, the condition is excellent. As with nearly all ornate silverplate t is a small amount of tarnish however, minimal polishing will bring these pieces back to like new condition. Please view read more
