I found this vibrant 19th century frame in Mexico City, along with another (listed seperately,) featuring the same irresistable shade of Mexican cobalt blue. The frame encloses its original engraving of San Cristobal, ferrying the Christ child across the raging river. The engraving is charmingly embellished with five small metal decorations. Unfortunately, the antique glass front, full of elongated bubbles, cracked in transit to the United States. For that reason, I am offering this beautiful piece at a low opening amount. The glass is stable and may be left as is or replaced. T are also two small cracks on the right side panel. Dimensions are 14 1/2" x 10 1/2". Image area is 12" x 8 1/4". The frame is not made to open. Original hanging loop intact on the back. Winning US bidder, please add $13 for careful packing and insured shipping. Winning international bidder please email seller for cost of shipping to your address. Thanks for looking!
