OUTSTANDING Deep, Dark Purple Australian Large Compote. Made by the Crown Crystal Glass Company, Australia, circa early 1900's. 6 1/2" tall by 9 1/4" top diameter, by 4 5/8" base diameter. Identical to the RARE Emu pattern large compotes, except that this one has a plain interior. It carries the same Hobnail & Cane exterior pattern as the Emu compotes. SUPER Multi-color Iridescense. No chips, nicks, wear, scratches or cracks. This one is a BEAUTY! And RARE! Selling without reserve.
