Purple Crocus Paperweight Made by Hafod Grange 65mm dia weight 250gAll paperweights come in a green gift box .Delivery is via Royal Mail Signed for UK , Royal Mail International Signed for Worldwide. Hafod Grange have been manufacturing high quality paperweights encapsulating natural botanical specimens in a crystal clear globe for over 40 years. The original paperweights were first produced in 1968 by Barry Needham as a form of therapy for muscular distrophy. After his death the designs were refined by his brother, Alan Needham, into the products that the firm offer today. Most of the botanical specimens encapsulated in the paperweights either grow naturally on the surrounding mountains or in carefully tended gardens. Each specimen is hand-picked and then dried using a range of techniques designed to preserve the natural beauty. After drying the specimens are cast in clear resin and then turned and polished to a superb finish. We are now offering customised encapsulation of either flowers from bouquets or icing decorations from cakes. The paperweights make a unique keepsake to remind you of that special occassion and can also be engraved should it be required. Please contact us for any futher information about our paperweights.
