No foreign bidders!!! This item cannot be shipped outside of the U.S.!!!! Up for bid are the PVS 5c night vision goggles pictured. They were purchased by a friend of mine on ebay several years ago, and now he wishes to sell them. The goggles are used in very good shape. They are in good working order. Both the normal and IR settings work. They are generation II and have some minor pinhole burnouts in the optics which is common for this type of goggle. ( when using the goggles you see several pin head sized black spots on the image) They were first manufactured during the first gulf war, but I am not sure when these were made. The lenses can be focused. Also included is a hard transport case. Goggles will be shipped with tracking and insurance. Also included are the lens covers pictured. No manual included. I am no expert and neither is my friend on these so they will be sold as is. I have done my best to describe the condition but feel free to ask any questions. I have seen these goggles selling for $1500 or more get these at a discount! Payment must be recieved within 72 hours of winning bid. I have received several questions about the viewing condition so I will describe it to the best fo my ability, but I am no expert: 1. The viewing picture from each tube is of equal brightness and free of flickering. It is very clear. 2. The spots appear to only be on the left tube. It appears that their are only two, one being in the bottom right corner and one just to the right of the center. Both are smaller in size than the head of a pin. They may actually be scratches on the lens but I can't really tell one way or the other. 3. It looks like there are a few slight scrathes to both the lenses, but other then the imperfections I have described they do not appear to affect the viewing. There may also be some slight coating loss, but if there is its not noticable to me. These are a great set of goggles and work very well in my opinion. They can be returned if you are not satisfied, but I doubt you will disappointed if you are lucky enough to win these.
