Pye vintage mains valve radio model 835 from 1930's in working order Old valve radio in working condition with long, medium, and short wave. Also has 5 pre-set station buttons. Works well at moment, and I have just changed the mains lead, but ideally like all electricals of this age could do with a check up, or service. That's up to you if you think it necessary. The volume control knob (not the control) is loose and requires some packing to make it firm. The cabinet is in surprisingly good condition for its age, in fact I'd say very good, which I believe is 1930's. All in all a stunning looking radio, and no obsolete unobtainable parts required to make it work. NB The mains lead shown in the pictures has been replaced as the rubber was starting to perish in one place. I didn't bother with another set of pictures after replacing it.
