Vintage Pygmalion Globe Shaped Compact. An unusual shaped compact made by Pygmalion, this one has a patterned goldtone surface. The goldtone is in good condition for a vintage item with only minor wear near the edges of the opening. The compact opens up in the middle to reveal a mirror in one half and the powder well in the other. Still has signed puff and sifter. At the base of the white plastic powder well is marked Pygmalion No 1960 Made In England Patent Pending.A few tiny spots to the mirror and a little wear to the very edges, otherwise it is OK. A nice, unusual vintage item for any compact collection.
