These bowls look like they could be new. The color is bright, cheerful and shiny. However, since they have been used since the 1950s, there are a few scratches on the inside of the bowls from wire whisks or spoons. I actually had to turn them into the right light to see them.Washing them by hand was and is always hazardous; therefore there is one little chip on the large bowl's handle. I'm really surprised there are not more.The bottom tells you they are PYREX, made in the USA ovenware.
