The silk medallion features an imperial five clawed dragon done in Kesi embroidery with gold metalic tread. The dragon surrounded by a multicolor boarder. I have found this form to be called a medallion, roundel, and rank badge. In the past ten years several of these silk medallions have been sold at auction.
