Quality 1913 Peikes 14K Gold Thick Linked Bracelet Presented is a fine quality 14 karat yellow gold bracelet made by Peikes in the early 1900s. The thick band is composed of many links in a braided style. The large clasp is engraved with lovely designs. The clasp is plunger style, which snaps securely shut, and has a nice safety chain for added security. T has been a monogram removal on the top of the clasp in the shield shaped cartouche, but it is only noticeable upon close inspection. The band is hinged to either side of the clasp so it pivots into place to easily conform to one's wrist. The band has an applied plaque marked 14K Peikes 1913 and the clasp is marked 14K. Everything is guaranteed to be 14 karat gold. This old piece is in fabulous condition. T is virtually no wear to the links, no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms and no repairs. The inside circumference of the bracelet is 6 5/8 inches and the bracelet weighs 24.6 grams.
